The Postal Regulatory Commission Approves USPS January 2023 Price Increase

The Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) today approved the United States Postal Service (USPS) proposed price increase for Market Dominant Mail, which will take effect January 22nd, 2023.

First-Class Single Piece Stamp prices will increase by 3¢, from 60¢ to 63¢. Order No. 6341 was posted on the PRC website this afternoon, November 28th, 2022.

Below is a summary of the average increase by class, and below that by-product level in each class. These remain unchanged from the proposal filing that was posted to the PRC website on October 7th, 2022.

Within each product, there are variable increases at a presort level. LSC Communications will work with their clients to forecast the individual impact on their mailings.
